The Fiat Ducato & e-Ducato at Research Garage

The Ducato is available in various configurations, including a panel van, passenger van, and chassis cab. It also comes with a range of power train options, including the 2.2 litre Multijet3 diesels that are said to be more durable, more flexible and less noisy than the 2.3 litre they replace.

The e-Ducato was introduced in 2020. It has a range of up to 175 miles on a single charge and comes with a maximum 79kWh battery pack, depending on the model. The e-Ducato is available in the same configurations as the regular Ducato and is designed for commercial use.

Ducato & e-Ducato Exterior

The exterior of the Fiat Ducato has been updated in recent years to reflect a more modern and streamlined design. The van has a boxy and spacious profile, with a large cargo area and high roof that offers plenty of headroom for passengers or cargo.

It has a payload capacity of up to 2,200 kg, making it one of the most capable vehicles in its class. This means that you can transport heavy loads and equipment without compromising on performance or efficiency.

On the sides, the van has large sliding doors that make it easy to load and unload cargo or passengers. The door handles are flush with the body of the van, which not only looks sleek but also reduces wind resistance and improves fuel efficiency. The rear of the van features a large tailgate or barn doors, depending on the configuration.

The e-Ducato, being the electric version, has a similar exterior design to the regular Ducato, with some differences to accommodate the electric powertrain. For example, the e-Ducato features special badging and styling cues to distinguish it from the regular Ducato.

Ducato & e-Ducato Interior

The cabin of the Ducato features a modern and ergonomic design, with easy-to-reach controls and plenty of storage space. The dashboard is well-organized and features a large touchscreen display that provides access to the vehicle's infotainment system, climate control, and other features.
